„Die Verzauberten“ (engl.: „the enchanted“) are an inclusive theatre group from Rostock, founded by and for people with disabilities in 1992. The portraits show the actors in their favorite roles, and recall that there is still a long way to go on the road toward equality for disabled people in the acting world.
Taken together with historical material from the archives, the portraits produce a living record that honors a theater troupe deeply entwined with its roots, and committed to its unique mode of expression.
